What is in the tin
- 100% Japanese ceremonial grade matcha, no sugar, no additives, vegan
- Fine powder, bright green, mild umami with little bitterness
- Made to whisk with water as usucha or to mix into a latte
- Shipped from our warehouse in Dietikon ZH
How to prepare it
- Sift 2 g of matcha into a bowl. That is a scant teaspoon or two bamboo scoops.
- Add 60 to 70 ml of water at 70 to 80 °C.
- Whisk with a bamboo whisk in a zigzag for 15 to 20 seconds until a fine foam forms.
- For a latte, whisk 2 g with 40 ml of water at 75 °C, then add 150 to 200 ml of warm or cold milk. Oat milk works well.
After opening, close the tin well and keep it cool, dry and dark. Matcha tastes best in the first 4 to 6 weeks.
